Here are some important things to know before you start;

This retirement calculator is set up specifically for Canadian Residents who plan to retire in Canada
Almost everything you fill in in these first steps can be changed later if you wish
You will need to know;
- Whether you are filling this in for a single retiree or for you and your spouse/partner
- Your projected CPP monthly amounts, available from the MyServiceCanada website
- If you are eligible for a private (company) pension, the approx monthly amount you can expect to receive at retirement, including any bridge amounts
- You current savings amounts in all accounts, registered and non-registered

In order to keep your sensitive information as secure as possible we do not store your name, account numbers, email or any other contact information. You access the saved info only through the use of a special secuity key, which you will receive when you save your data. It is important that you keep this code in a very safe place. You can store up to 5 different profiles and can add your own notes to each for your own reference. Please do not put any personal information like account numbers in the notes.

Additional Information about Security and Privacy

All stored data is encrypted using 256 bit encryption and can only be unlocked using YOUR encryption key
Should you require technical assistance we will ask you for permission to access your data solely for the purposes of troubleshooting any issues
You will also have an opportunity to store this encrypted data as a backup on your own computer, if you wish
